Who can see my markup comments?

Markup comments help centralise collaboration with other IntelligenceBank users during an asset's review or proofing process.

Who can view markup comments depends on the tool you're using to markup your asset, as well as whether those comments are general or private.

General vs Private Comments

The two types of Mark up comments are:

General Comments - can be viewed by anyone who can see the asset's markup panel. Use General Comments if you want the broader group of users involved to view and potentially chime in
Private Comments - viewed only by those users who are invited to a private comment thread. Use Private Comments if perhaps you just need to "sidebar" with another user, or ask a question to another user that you don't necessarily need shown within the broader context of the asset's review

General Comments Visibility

For any approval/workflow processes (ie: Feedback, Publish, Record File approvals), the below users would be able to view General Comments within an asset's markup panel*:

Requestor
Reviewer(s)
Main Admins
Approval Admins
Users with Access permission to Approvals
Collaborators (if using)

If you're using IntelligenceBank's General Markup Comments feature, the below users can view General Comments:

Main Admins
Any user who has at least View permission on the brief/form the asset is uploaded to

Note:

Mark up comments will remain visible to these users even after the request is complete.
*Users need underlying permission to view the asset within the markup panel as well. Users would need at least Preview permission on the folder the assets are located in for Feedback and Publish approvals and at least View permission on the brief/form the asset is uploaded to for Record File approvals.
